Planning Officer
Do you want to support the Clutha District and help grow and develop the area for future generations? We’re looking for a motivated Planning Officer to join our Planning Team in our Regulatory Services Department.
In this role, you will:
- Process simple applications for resource consents
- Carry out administrative processing of planning, compliance and other regulatory applications as required
- Provide technical planning and regulatory advice to internal and external stakeholders in response to enquires
- Be part of an inclusive team environment to help deliver growth minded planning services for the Clutha District.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a Level 5 Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience
- At least 2 years’ experience in a relevant field
- Is able to interpret, analyse and present information to explain technical information clearly to meet customers and stakeholders needs
- Enjoys working as part of a team and capable of working independently
- Is committed to providing high-quality customer service in response to enquires
