Planning & Procurement Executive (Air Freight)

• Salary: Up to S$3,500 (commensurate with experience)
• 5.25 Work Day Rotating Shift, Mondays – Fridays and alternate Saturday/Sunday
• Location: East

A leading global logistics company is seeking a Planning & Procurement Executive to join its growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and plan shipment space utilisation to maximise loading efficiency
• Coordinate with airlines on rates, bookings, shipment tracking and operational matters
• Manage freight bookings and ensure timely shipment uplift
• Maintain and review buying and selling rates with customers and carriers
• Handle RFQs and tender submissions
• Coordinate with sales, customer service and warehouse teams to ensure smooth shipment execution
• Plan shipment consolidations and monitor freight status updates
• Prepare progress reports and profit/loss analysis for stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in air freight planning, procurement or freight forwarding
• Experience liaising with airlines and handling freight bookings is preferred
• Strong problem-solving, organisational and time management skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts and alternate weekends
