Position: Plant Accountant

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Plant Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities at the plant, including ERP operations, payroll, financial reporting, and preparation of the Balance Sheet up to finalisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
* Handle accounting activities through ERP systems.
* Manage plant payroll, including salary processing, deductions, attendance, and related records.
* Prepare and review Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and other financial statements.
* Handle the Balance Sheet process up to finalisation, including schedules, reconciliations, and closing activities.
* Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
* Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
* Prepare monthly MIS and financial reports for management.
* Coordinate with auditors, statutory teams, and corporate finance departments.
* Ensure proper documentation and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
* Monitor plant expenses, inventory-related accounting, and cost control.
* Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3–5+ years of relevant experience in plant/factory accounting.
* Strong hands-on experience in ERP accounting systems.
* Good experience in payroll processing and related accounting.
* Strong knowledge of Balance Sheet preparation and finalisation.
* Good knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
* Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
* Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

* B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with prior experience in manufacturing/plant accounting and strong hands-on exposure to ERP, payroll, and finalisation of accounts will be preferred.

Free Air passage from point of origin in India to the place of work in Guyana and also for return to India at the time of completion of contract.

50% of the cost of the outbound ticket to Guyana shall be repaid by the candidate through monthly deductions of US$100 (One Hundred United States Dollars). The said deduction will be refunded to the candidate if he completes the duration of his contract.

A minimum of 2 years of international experience in the relevant position is required.
