As a Plant & Facilities Electrical Engineer, you are technically responsible for ensuring the continuity, safety, and efficiency of utility systems within our high-tech manufacturing facility. Your focus is on managing and optimizing critical installations, including low- and high-voltage electrical systems, automation, and PLC-controlled systems. Through data analysis, preventive engineering, and project management, you minimize risks and ensure compliance with stringent cleanroom requirements.

Your responsibilities
  • Implement and document preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

  • Define and execute projects that drive continuous improvements in reliability, capacity, and sustainability.

  • Identify the root causes of complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

  • Monitor installations and strive to achieve maximum uptime and operational continuity.

  • Train, coach, and support Plant & Facilities Technicians.

  • Prepare reports related to environmental and sustainability requirements.

  • Evaluate external service providers and contractors based on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Participate in an on-call duty rotation.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Electromechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering).

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with low- and high-voltage electrical installations, automation systems, and PLC-controlled systems in a process industry environment.

  • Experience in supervising, coaching, and managing contractors.

  • High standards regarding maintenance quality, operational excellence, and safety.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a team-oriented mindset.

  • Qualification as an Environmental Coordinator Level A and/or Prevention Advisor is a significant asset.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is considered an advantage.
