As a Plant Electrical Engineering Manager, you will be the technical authority responsible for the reliability, safety, and long-term development of the electrical power infrastructure at our Częstochowa manufacturing facility. You will lead a team of electrical professionals while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of high, medium, and low-voltage systems supporting one of Guardian's most advanced glass manufacturing sites.
You will play a key role in driving operational excellence, energy efficiency, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives while partnering with maintenance, production, engineering, EHS, and external stakeholders.

You will join the Plant Engineering and Maintenance organization at Guardian Częstochowa, working closely with operation leaders, maintenance teams, production management, project engineers, and EHS professionals.

What You Will Do
- Serve as the plant's technical authority for electrical power distribution systems, including HV/MV/LV infrastructure.
- Ensure safe and reliable operation of electrical installations and equipment throughout the facility.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of electricians and electrical specialists.
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Support capital projects, modernization initiatives, and expansion activities related to electrical infrastructure.
- Participate in risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis to improve system performance and safety.
- Ensure compliance with applicable electrical, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain electrical standards, procedures, and technical documentation.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve energy efficiency and optimize power consumption.
- Manage contractors and external service providers performing electrical work on-site.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, industrial power systems, maintenance, or a related field.
- Experience working with HV/MV/LV electrical installations, including power distribution systems.
- Experience leading technical teams or coordinating maintenance and engineering activities.
- Working knowledge of electrical safety regulations, industrial standards, and risk management principles.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Polish.
- Proficiency with technical documentation and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience as a Chief Electrical Engineer, Power Systems Engineer, Electrical Engineering Manager, or similar technical leadership role.
- Experience in glass manufacturing, chemicals, petrochemicals, heavy industry, energy, mining, steel, or other high-hazard industrial environments.
- Experience within SEVESO-regulated facilities.
- Knowledge of ATEX requirements and hazardous area installations.
- SEP E/D qualifications up to 110 kV.
- Construction and design licenses related to electrical installations and power systems.
- Experience leading electrical infrastructure modernization or large-scale capital projects.
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), predictive maintenance, or asset management methodologies.
- Proven track record of delivering energy reduction and sustainability initiatives.
- Experience working within an international manufacturing organization.
