Plant General Facilities Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Plant Facilities & Utilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain general plant utilities (compressed air, RO, STP, water systems). Execute maintenance plans, manage spare parts, analyze repair costs, and respond to emergency off-shift calls.
Fire Protection & Safety: Conduct regular testing and oversight of fire suppression systems (sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, alarms) to maintain 100% readiness in compliance with NFPA/FM Global and local fire codes.
Thermal Operations: Operate, calibrate, and repair heat treatment systems (burners, sensors, heat exchangers, pressure vessels) to guarantee precise process control and product safety.
Compliance & Quality: Maintain continuous adherence to 5S, GMP, HACCP, Halal, and ISO standards while keeping engineering records accurate.
Qualifications
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred (Civil or Electrical Engineering also considered).
Licensure: Registered Engineer preferred; open to non-licensed candidates with relevant industrial experience.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in plant facility maintenance, thermal utilities, or industrial operations.
Skills: Proficient in reading engineering blueprints, troubleshooting electro-pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and handling basic expense tracking and inventory forecasting.
