Plant Maintenance Mechanic

General Statement of Duties

Performs assigned tasks issued by Maintenance Supervisor, Chief Operator or Water Resources Director. Ensure proper work methods and safety procedures are followed. Maintains inventory of essential parts, materials, and tools.

· Completes work orders for preventive maintenance and repairs.

· Acquires quotes on materials, parts, and subcontracted work.

· Will be required to be on-call after hours, weekends, and holidays

· Will be required to respond after hours for waterline breaks and/or emergency repairs.

· Will be required to drive a City vehicle for City business use.

· Performs related work as required.
