Position Summary
ARCH Cutting Tools is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Orchard Park manufacturing facility. This role holds full responsibility for plant performance, including safety, production, team development, and financial results.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, results-driven leader who can build strong teams, drive continuous improvement, and consistently deliver against key business objectives.
Job Details
$130,000 - $160,000 a year plus bonus. This is a SALARIED position.
Hours: Full time Mon – Fri, 8 am – 5 pm
Orchard Park, NY
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of plant operations, with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Promote a culture focused on safety, health, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement
- Set, track, and achieve business goals, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Oversee production scheduling and workflow to maximize productivity and efficiency
- Coach, develop, and hold accountable supervisors and leadership team members
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across operations
- Oversee capital investments, cost control, plant assets, and inventory management
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
- Lead problem-solving efforts to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align plant operations with company strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
- 7+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant or senior operations leadership
- Proven supervisory and people leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to drive performance through KPIs and continuous improvement
- Strong financial, operational, and data analysis skills
