Plant Manager

Pay: $185,000 - $215,000 per year, DOE

You'll run the whole plant. Northwest Frozen is a frozen food processing and distribution company, and we need a hands-on leader who owns safety, quality, output and people, and who reports results straight to ownership.

What you'll do

• Oversee daily plant operations across production, warehouse and shipping so orders go out on time and to spec.
• Lead, hire, train and develop supervisors and hourly staff across shifts, and build a culture of accountability.
• Own food safety and quality compliance (FSSC 22000, HACCP, FDA and USDA requirements) and be audit-ready every day.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics on raw materials, inventory, cold storage and carrier schedules.
• Keep equipment and refrigeration running through preventive maintenance and work with the maintenance team to cut downtime.
• Set and track KPIs (throughput, labor, waste, safety) and report regularly to leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement, workplace safety (OSHA) and cost control.

What you bring

• 7+ years in food manufacturing or frozen/cold-chain operations, including 3+ years as a plant or operations manager.
• Strong working knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, GFSI schemes such as FSSC 22000).
• A track record of leading teams on multiple shifts.
• Comfort with ERP/inventory systems and data-driven decisions.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, food science, operations or business is preferred; equivalent experience counts.
