Plant Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Plant Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations, including printing, painting, CNC, assembly, shipping, receiving, and logistics. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and a proven track record of improving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily plant operations and ensure production schedules are met.
Manage department supervisors and drive accountability across all teams.
Maintain plant safety and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance.
Improve productivity, quality, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.
Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, scrap, and rework.
Manage labor, materials, equipment, and operating budgets.
Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other departments.
Use ERP/MRP systems to monitor production and operational performance.
Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees.
Qualifications
10+ years of manufacturing experience.
7+ years of leadership or management experience.
Experience managing multiple manufacturing departments.
Strong knowledge of OSHA, plant safety, and compliance.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; Epicor preferred.
Strong knowledge of production planning, budgeting, and operations.
Experience in custom fabrication, millwork, signage, woodworking, printing, or metal fabrication preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
