Summary
Oversees and assists in power plant operations, supervising maintenance and boiler systems in a leadership role when the Chief Plant Operator is absent.
A Day in the Life
Assists the Licensed Chief Plant Operator in assignment and supervision of various maintenance and operational tasks. Operates as the Chief when he is absent. Works in a leadership role collaboratively with the rest of the plant staff
What’s Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4 years of power plant experience in the operation of boilers in a high pressure boiler plant
- Valid MI Driver License
State of Michigan Second Class Stationary Engineer Registration/License
