<h1>Job Description: Production Planning Engineer</h1><p><strong>Company:</strong> Everest Industries Limited<br /><strong>Position:</strong> Production Planning Engineer – Entry Level<br /><strong>Location:</strong> Roorkee, Uttarakhand<br /><strong>Department:</strong> Production Planning & Control (PPC)<br /><strong>Experience:</strong> 0–2 Years<br /><strong>Employment Type:</strong> Full-Time</p><h2>Job Summary</h2><p>Everest Industries is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Planning Engineer to support production planning, scheduling, material coordination, and shop-floor operations at its Roorkee location. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of manufacturing processes, good analytical skills, and a willingness to learn.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li><p>Assist in preparing daily and weekly production plans based on customer orders and delivery schedules.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with production, stores, procurement, and quality teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.</p></li><li><p>Monitor production progress against planned targets and report any deviations.</p></li><li><p>Track raw material availability and coordinate with the concerned departments to avoid production delays.</p></li><li><p>Maintain production planning reports, records, and MIS data.</p></li><li><p>Support capacity planning, manpower allocation, and machine utilization monitoring.</p></li><li><p>Identify production bottlenecks and assist in implementing corrective actions.</p></li><li><p>Track work-in-progress (WIP), production output, and dispatch schedules.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adherence to production timelines, quality standards, and safety procedures.</p></li></ul><h2>Eligibility Criteria</h2><ul><li><p><strong>Qualification:</strong> B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in production planning, PPC, or manufacturing operations.</p></li><li><p>Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production planning concepts.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of ERP/SAP systems will be an advantage.</p></li></ul><h2>Required Skills</h2><ul><li><p>Good analytical and problem-solving skills.</p></li><li><p>Strong coordination and communication abilities.</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records.</p></li><li><p>Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.</p></li><li><p>Willingness to work at the plant location in Roorkee.</p></li></ul><h2>Preferred Candidate Profile</h2><p>Candidates with an interest in production planning, manufacturing operations, inventory coordination, and continuous process improvement are encouraged to apply.</p><p><strong>Work Location:</strong> Everest Industries Limited, Roorkee, Uttarakhand.</p>
