Plants Styling Designer

Job Scope

• Basic knowledge of plant habits, plant growth requirements, common substrates & materials used for plant arrangement is preferred but not necessary. (Example: succulents cannot be planted together with other plant that need more water).

• Able to determine the type plant arrangements required for a particular design style or look by combining various plant colour varieties and plant sizes.

• Ensure the production of the required plant arrangements and numbers are ready by given deadlines for distribution to outlets.

• Understand customer’s requirements and able to recommend plants and care requirements for a specific arrangement in accordance to customer’s budget.

• To assist managers to develop new appropriate and trendy plant arrangement designs for various calendar events and occasions (eg. Christmas & CNY).

• Ensure work area is always well-organised, clean and welcoming to customers.

• Any ad-hoc work as assigned by the Management.

Requirements:

• Strong sense aesthetics and creativity.

• Understand trends and able to translate them into realistic plant arrangement designs

• High levels of productivity and efficiency (able to create numerous plant arrangements within a short period of time to match our rate of sales).

• Good knowledge & understanding of plants is a plus.

• Willing to learn and open to feedback and changes required to designs.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
