Plastics Processing Technician
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain horizontal injection molding machines according to process specifications and safety procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including cleaning, lubrication, and filter changes.
- Identify and troubleshoot process problems related to machine functionality, material flow, and part quality.
- Monitor and record machine parameters to ensure consistent production output and adherence to quality control standards.
- Assist with mold changes, including cleaning, inspection, and proper installation.
- Maintain accurate production logs and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with production team members and engineers to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to minimize waste and downtime.
- May be required to lift and move materials weighing up to [weight limit].
