Platform Architect (ServiceNow)

About the Role

As a Principal Platform Architect, you will help organizations maximize the value of their ServiceNow investment through strategic platform architecture, governance, and transformation leadership.

You will work closely with executive stakeholders, enterprise architects, platform owners, delivery teams, and business leaders to define platform strategy, drive adoption, and enable sustainable, long-term business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as a trusted architectural advisor to clients, defining platform strategy and aligning ServiceNow capabilities with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain enterprise platform roadmaps that prioritize capability adoption, business value realization, and long-term platform sustainability.
• Lead solution design reviews and provide architectural guidance across technical architecture, data strategy, integrations, platform governance, and AI adoption.
• Assess platform health, identify risks, technical debt, and optimization opportunities, and recommend remediation strategies to improve performance, security, maintainability, and user experience.
• Influence senior technology leaders and provide guidance to fellow architects while contributing best practices, frameworks, and thought leadership across the architecture community.

What You’ll Need to Be Considered

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, platform architecture, consulting, or digital transformation environments.
• Deep expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, including platform capabilities, applications, integrations, data models, and governance frameworks.
• Proven ability to develop platform roadmaps and translate business objectives into scalable, enterprise-wide technology strategies.
• Experience advising senior technology leaders, enterprise architects, directors, and vice presidents on strategic technology investments and platform decisions.
• Strong experience in technical governance, platform health assessments, risk management, and technical debt remediation.
• Experience defining data architecture, integration strategy, and enterprise platform standards.
• Expertise in AI-enabled transformation initiatives, including ServiceNow AI capabilities, adoption strategies, and governance considerations.
• Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.

What Will Help You Stand Out

• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credential or active pursuit of advanced ServiceNow architecture certifications.
• Expertise across multiple ServiceNow workflow areas, such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, or GRC.
• Experience advising large enterprise clients on platform modernization and digital transformation programs.
• Strong business and industry acumen, with the ability to connect technology investments to measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrated success mentoring architects, developing governance frameworks, and driving architectural excellence across organizations.

Engagement Model

This opportunity follows an initial three-month allocation model, with the potential for subsequent conversion to a direct internal position.
