Platform/DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure Continuous Integration (CI) to join our dynamic team in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud based applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to enhance our development and operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability in Azure environments.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates.
Implement security best practices in CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Azure CI practices.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps and cloud computing.
Mandatory Skills:

Strong expertise in Azure Continuous Integration (CI) and Azure DevOps.
Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly Azure.
Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols in cloud environments.
Knowledge of database management and cloud storage solutions.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a related role.
Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
