Context
We are looking for a Platform Engineer to help shape and evolve an enterprise AI platform built on Azure AI Foundry and related Azure services.
This is a hands-on role combining Platform Engineering, Cloud, DevOps and Solution Architecture, with strong collaboration across Security, Integration and Enterprise Architecture teams.
Responsibilities
- Own and coordinate the technical architecture of the AI platform.
- Translate platform needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Explore new Azure AI capabilities and build PoCs/prototypes.
- Define architecture, integration patterns, networking and technical decisions.
- Coordinate implementation across Cloud, Security, DevOps and Integration teams.
- Support CI/CD, automation, developer tooling and platform improvements.
- Manage the technical backlog and help remove cross-team blockers.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Solid background in Cloud, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure or DevOps.
- Good knowledge of Azure networking, Entra ID and Identity & Access Management.
- Experience with Terraform and/or Bicep.
- CI/CD experience with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of API Management, enterprise cloud environments and DevOps practices.
- Scripting experience with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, autonomous and comfortable working across multiple technical teams.
- Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI or Azure AI Search
- Azure API Management
- Databricks or Boomi
- AI/LLM platform experience
- Architecture Decision Records or Enterprise Architecture exposure
- AWS/GCP background with the ability to transition quickly to Azure
