Platform Engineer
We are looking for a technically curious and well-rounded Platform Engineer to support and develop our technology environment.
This role will combine BAU support with project-based work, giving you exposure across cloud infrastructure, networking, data, applications and business technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and improving cloud platforms, infrastructure and business applications.
• Developing and maintaining the infrastructure
• Supporting CI/CD and engineering practices
• Monitoring and improving platform performance and reliability
• Working closely with Engineers, Data Analysts and business stakeholders on technology and business improvement projects.
• Identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement
• Exploring the practical use of AI tools

Your Skills

• 4+ years of experience in a Platform, Cloud, Infrastructure, Systems or DevOps Engineering role.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Open-minded, curious and interested in learning and adopting new technologies.
• Strong Microsoft Azure experience (AWS and/or VMWare experience is a bonus)
• Experience with a number of the following:
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Azure Networking
  • Azure Functions / Function Apps
  • Azure DevOps
  • Bicep or Terraform
  • VMware or Citrix
  • Azure Monitor or LogicMonitor

Nice to have: Experience with containers, as well as an interest in AI-assisted engineering tools.
