Platform Engineer

Requirements:

• Python and Next.js, both in production.
• 3+ years shipping production web applications to real users.
• TypeScript as a default, with FastAPI or a strong path into it.
• Postgres beyond the ORM: you read query plans and fix indexes.
• Exposure to multi-tenant systems, RBAC, or row-level security.
• Strong signals: canvas or SVG rendering at scale, queue systems, Azure, or GCP.

This role is not for you if:

• You want a purely frontend role; half this job is backend and schema work.
• You want a specification handed to you; you will often decide what the feature should be.
• You care more about the word “founding” than the ownership it carries.
