Platform Engineer

Summary

The Platform Engineer will develop and maintain Computer Vision services, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines while managing deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure support. The role focuses on Python-based service development and operational diagnostics for production environments.


Scope of Work/ Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Computer Vision services, APIs, configuration and error handling.
  • Package services and models for controlled deployment, versioning and rollback.
  • Build and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
  • Implement health checks, structured logging, monitoring and operational diagnostics.
  • Work with IT on infrastructure, connectivity, certificates, access and environment requirements.
  • Support staging and production deployment, incident investigation and troubleshooting.
  • Prepare deployment guides, technical documentation, runbooks and handover materials.
  • Follow security, privacy, access and change-management requirements.

Minimum Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Practical software engineering experience with services, APIs or system integration.
  • Strong Python development experience.
  • Experience with Linux, containers, version control, automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, databases, networking and production support.
  • Able to troubleshoot across application, model and infrastructure layers.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Azure, GPU workloads, video streaming or on-premises deployment is useful but not mandatory.
  • Experience with ML inference, ONNX, TensorRT or Triton is useful but not mandatory.
