Platform Engineer (P4)
Summary
Mid-senior Platform Engineer building and automating scalable AWS/Azure cloud environments that power data science and ML workflows, using Terraform, Kubernetes, Python, and CI/CD tooling in a client-facing consulting role.
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Engineer (P4) based in Ireland.
This is a mid-senior platform engineering role focused on building reliable, scalable cloud environments that power data science and machine learning workflows.
You’ll design, automate, and evolve infrastructure used by global organizations working on complex, data-intensive projects.
The role combines hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering with a strong consulting mindset and meaningful client interaction.
You’ll work primarily on one client engagement at a time, allowing you to develop deep technical context while occasionally contributing across other projects.
You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into robust technical solutions and advise on architecture and best practices.
The position offers significant ownership, with opportunities to lead technical implementations and contribute to internal standards, documentation, and engineering initiatives.
Working fully remotely across Europe, you’ll join a trust-based environment where autonomy, technical excellence, and continuous learning are strongly encouraged.
