Platform Engineer — Senior

EggAI is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build and operate a cloud-native Kubernetes platform for client projects. You will own production-grade platform components, from architecture discussions to reliability, cost, and observability.

Expect deep collaboration with client engineers and a focus on delivering robust, self-service capabilities. You’ll work in a remote EU-friendly setup, typically handling one engagement at a time with a small, focused team.

Design, build and operate the Kubernetes platform for the engagement, defined in Terraform. Lead architecture discussions for your part of the platform. Take ownership: chase down the answer and speak up when issues arise. Build self-service paths for delivery engineers. Own reliability: SLOs, observability, incident response, cost. Collaborate with client's engineers in daily standups, planning and reviews. 5+ years in infrastructure/platform/SRE roles. 3+ years running production Kubernetes. Terraform in production environments. Cloud experience across AWS, GCP, or Azure. CI/CD and GitOps with ArgoCD/Flux. Observability and reliability emphasis. Scripting in Bash, Python or Go. Security best practices for secrets and supply chain. Strong client-facing communication.
