EggAI is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and operate the Kubernetes‑based platform for client projects. You’ll own production readiness, work in a small team, and go deep on one engagement at a time, collaborating closely with client engineers.
You’ll implement Terraform‑driven infrastructure, lead architecture discussions, ensure reliability with SLOs and observability, and advance cost control, security and GitOps workflows across cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Design, build and operate the Kubernetes platform for the engagement, defined in Terraform. Lead architecture discussions with the tech lead supporting you. Own problems: chase answers and call out issues when something goes wrong. Build self-service paths for delivery engineers to avoid blockages. Own reliability: SLOs, observability, incident response, cost. Collaborate with client engineers in daily standups, planning, retrospectives, reviews. 5+ years in infrastructure/platform/SRE roles, with 3+ years running production Kubernetes. Experience designing and operating cloud-native platforms in production. Hands-on Terraform in production, plus Helm or Kustomize. Strong cloud depth in AWS, GCP or Azure, incl. networking and IAM. CI/CD and GitOps experience (ArgoCD/Flux). Observability and reliability: Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, SLOs. Scripting: Bash and Python or Go. Security: secrets management and supply-chain scanning. Excellent client-facing communication. Remote (EU only)
