emagine is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join a fast-growing product company in Stockholm. This is a hands-on infrastructure-focused assignment where you will play a key role in supporting a cloud migration initiative while helping scale and improve the company's platform and core infrastructure.
You will work closely with a highly skilled engineering organization and be responsible for building, maintaining and evolving cloud-native infrastructure that enables rapid and secure software delivery.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
Location: Stockholm
Work setup: On-site 5 days per week
Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure
Drive infrastructure improvements related to cloud migration projects
Build and operate Kubernetes-based platforms
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform
Improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Ensure platform reliability, scalability and performance
Implement monitoring, observability and alerting across the platform
Work with networking, security and access management
Support engineering teams by improving developer experience and internal platform tooling
Contribute to automation initiatives and reduce operational overhead
Help establish best practices around infrastructure, security and operational excellence
Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making
Required Skills
Strong experience with Kubernetes
Strong experience with Terraform
Solid networking knowledge
Experience working with AWS, OpenStack or another major cloud platform
Experience building and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure
Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and automation
Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Experience with monitoring and observability tools
Good understanding of security, encryption and platform hardening
Ability to work independently and deliver in a fast-moving environment
Nice to Have
Previous experience with multi-cloud environments
Experience with large-scale cloud migration projects
Experience working in highly regulated environments
Experience building internal platform tooling and developer platforms
Hands-on experience with T-Cloud
Experience with service migrations between cloud providers
Programming or scripting experience in Python, Go or similar
