Your IT Recruiter is seeking a Platform Engineer for our client John Deere, based in Moline, IL. The role emphasizes cloud-based design and development with a strong focus on infrastructure as code and automation.
You will collaborate with the Infrastructure team to build a Digital Workspace Platform for use across engineering groups, applying modern DevOps practices and tools to accelerate delivery.
Help move infrastructure toward code-based delivery (IaC). Collaborate with Infrastructure Engineers to build a Digital Workspace Platform for internal use. Apply DevOps practices to improve automation, reliability, and scalability. Experience in designing, developing, testing, and deploying complex software using DevOps concepts. Experience with Rest APIs and integration points. 2+ years with both relational (PostgreSQL, MSSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.) databases. 2+ years with Git and source control workflows. Hands-on with configuration management tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and Salt.
