ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Platform Infrastructure Engineer to join the Asset Intelligence Platform (AIP) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the platform's technical foundation provisioning, configuring, and maintaining the infrastructure and integrations that enable data ingestion from government agencies and Whole-of-Government(WOG) central data sources.
This role is critical to achieving AIP's mission of reducing the government's attack surface by ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable data connectivity between agencies and the platform.
The Asset Intelligence Platform is a collaboration between the Cybersecurity Group (CSG), Government IT Security Incident Response (GITSIR), and Government Productivity Engineering (GPE). The platform addresses critical gaps in the government's federated IT environment specifically the information collection gap and vulnerability scanner gap to enable effective threat prioritisation and remediation tracking.
The Platform Infrastructure Engineer is the technical backbone of agency onboarding, translating data source requirements into working integrations and ensuring the platform operates reliably at scale across the government landscape.
