Leads platform modernization for a conglomerate, focusing on identity solutions, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling to ensure high availability and security.
Our client is a leading Conglomerate with strong and stable businesses and expansion plan. To cope with the Digital Transformation road map, they are hiring a Platform Manager to help them to lead the platform modernization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with regional engineering squads (including our Shenzhen dev hub), QA/System Assurance, and Infrastructure/Ops teams to roll out enterprise-grade identity solutions.
- Incident Prevention & Triage: Monitor platform telemetry and error logs proactively to eliminate system defects before they impact end-users; act as a key responder for complex CIAM troubleshooting.
- Release & Patch Management: Author technical hotfixes, create clear release documentation, and collaborate with QA to define strict testing parameters for patch deployments.
- Production Readiness: Participate in our 24x7 support duty rotation to ensure uninterrupted availability for our consumer identity services.
Core Technical Prerequisites:
- Strong hands-on development background in Java (mandatory), paired with scripting experience in JavaScript, Groovy, or Perl .
- In-depth familiarity with identity standards and authentication frameworks: OAuth2, OIDC, and PKCE .
- Solid operational skills in SQL database querying, LDAP directory searches, and JSON manipulation.
- Hands-on exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling ( Jenkins, Docker, ArgoCD ).
Experience & Background:
- At least 6 years working experiences of which at least 4 years experiences in software delivery, systems integration, or high-availability application support.
- Proven track record in Agile environments, managing high-priority deliverables under tight schedules.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Bonus: ITIL certification or strong understanding of IT Service Management practices.
