Platform Operations Analyst
You will run reconciliation and loss detection operations, investigate transaction discrepancies and payment issues, improve controls and documentation, partner with Engineering to resolve system gaps, and automate repetitive workflows using AI and data tooling.
Responsibilities
- Execute reconciliation and research exceptions across customer cash and money movement
- Monitor transactions for discrepancies, anomalies, and potential losses
- Investigate losses and drive issues to resolution
- Track and close payment-related issues
- Contribute to financial close and reporting
- Improve controls and recommend process enhancements
- Partner with Engineering to resolve product and system gaps
- Strengthen process documentation
- Automate repetitive workflows with AI
- Share automation solutions with teammates
- Prioritize high-volume work for automation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related analytical field
- 3-4 years of operations, analyst, or similar experience
- Experience in payments, banking, fintech, financial services, or accounting operations
- Familiarity with reconciliation, cash management, ACH/NACHA rules, or card networks
- Exposure to payments regulatory or compliance requirements
- Experience using AI to automate workflows
- Spreadsheet proficiency
- SQL experience or aptitude to learn SQL
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally
