Platform Quality Engineer

AI Digital is reshaping the future of programmatic media through Elevate, our proprietary AI-powered platform that helps agencies make smarter decisions across marketing research, media planning, and campaign optimization.
We’re looking for a Platform Quality Engineer (Technical Support & QA Specialist) to join our Product Operations team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to help shape quality standards for Elevate, collaborate closely with Product and Engineering, and make a visible impact on a growing platform used by more than 100 media agencies.

Responsibilities:

Technical Support and Investigation

  • Own second-line technical support for Elevate, taking escalations from the first-line support team and driving them through to resolution.

  • Work with support team, internal users, client-facing teams, and, when necessary, users directly to clarify requests, gather relevant context, and reproduce reported issues.

  • Investigate unexpected platform behavior, browser-specific problems, dashboard preparation errors, data discrepancies, and integration failures across the web application, data sources, reporting tools, and connected services.

  • Use browser developer tools and available technical information to identify potential causes, including front-end behavior, console errors, and failed network requests.

  • Document investigation findings through clear, actionable technical requirements and bug reports that include reproduction steps and expected versus actual behavior.

  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, BI, Data, AdOps, and other relevant teams to ensure that identified issues are resolved.

    Release QA and Web Testing

  • Perform manual functional and regression testing for every Elevate release across development and production environments and supported web browsers.

  • Verify that new features and updates work as expected from an end-user perspective and do not affect existing platform functionality, including scenarios that may not be covered by automated code-level testing.

  • Develop and continuously improve test cases, regression checklists, and known-issue documentation to make each release more efficient and consistent.

    Reporting Quality and Product Rollouts

  • Review client-facing dashboards and reporting outputs, identify data, functional, and UI/UX inconsistencies, and help determine whether the source is the data, integration, platform, or dashboard configuration.

  • Provide technical support to operational teams during migrations, implementations, and new product rollouts, including resolving technical issues and confirming that users have the necessary access and documentation.

  • 2+ years of experience in manual QA, technical support, product support, or a related hybrid role within a web-based SaaS or software product environment.

  • Hands-on experience testing complex web applications, including functional and regression testing.

  • Experience reproducing and investigating browser-specific issues using browser developer tools, console information, network requests, or similar technical resources.

  • Experience investigating user-reported technical issues and communicating with users or stakeholders to gather the information needed to understand and reproduce a problem.

  • Experience working with complex software products involving API integrations, multiple data sources, or multi-module web applications.

  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills, with the ability to follow an issue across several systems rather than focusing only on one product component.

  • Ability to write clear and actionable bug reports with reproduction steps, expected behavior, and actual behavior so that developers can investigate without extensive follow-up.

  • Experience working in an independent SaaS or product company where you were expected to take ownership of issues end-to-end rather than simply pass tickets to another team.

  • Professional working proficiency in English, both written and verbal.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI, including validating dashboards, identifying discrepancies, and tracing where data diverges.

  • Basic SQL and comfort working with data tables: able to read a query and reconcile numbers against a source.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered features, LLM-based systems, or agentic workflows, including an understanding of how to test outputs that may not be fully deterministic.

  • Understanding of AdTech or MarTech products, particularly DSPs, campaign data, media buying, and performance reporting.

What we offer:

  • USD compensation that values your expertise‍.

  • Work from anywhere: Fully remote to suit your lifestyle‍.

  • 31 days of paid time off: 21 days of annual leave + 10 days of sick leave, because your health and work-life balance matter‍.

  • Growth-focused environment: Access to learning resources and clear pathways for growth‍.

  • Fun team events: Virtual cooking classes, yoga sessions, team quizzes and more.

  • ‍A culture of trust: We cut the red tape - results over rules always. Open talk, ownership and getting things done together.

Location: EMEA (selected countries only).
