Playstation Technician

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and experienced PlayStation Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair various models of Sony PlayStation consoles (PS4, PS5, etc.) and accessories. In this role, you will ensure high-quality technical repairs, component replacements, and preventative maintenance to restore gaming systems to optimal working condition.

Note: Applicants must currently reside within Saudi Arabia, possess valid residency status with no Huroob (absenteeism report), and be fully willing to relocate to different cities across the Kingdom as per business requirements. Applications are exclusively open to candidates of Indian, Filipino, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Nepalese nationalities.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Inspect and test malfunctioning PlayStation consoles and controllers to accurately identify hardware, software, power supply, and HDMI port issues.

• Component Repair & Replacement: Perform delicate micro-soldering, board-level repairs, and replace damaged internal components such as disc drives, hard drives, cooling fans, and charging ports.

• Software Troubleshooting: Reinstall system software, perform firmware updates, troubleshoot error codes, and restore system databases.

• Maintenance & Cleaning: Clean internal components, remove dust accumulation, and replace thermal paste to prevent overheating and extend console lifespan.

• Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous post-repair testing on consoles and controllers to ensure all features (audio, video, networking, controllers) function perfectly before returning them to customers.

• Inventory & Parts Management: Keep track of spare parts, tools, and repair supplies, reporting shortages to management promptly.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven professional hands-on experience as an Electronics Technician specializing in game console repairs (specifically Sony PlayStation platforms).

• Geographic & Legal Requirement: Must currently be located inside Saudi Arabia with valid residency status (Iqama) and absolutely NO Huroob status (must be eligible for transfer).

• Mobility: Must be fully willing to be relocated to different cities within Saudi Arabia based on company operational needs.

• Nationality Restriction: Open only to Indian, Filipino, Bangladeshi, Pakistani, and Nepalese nationals.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in micro-soldering, schematic reading, and the safe handling of sensitive electronic components using specialized repair tools.

• Problem-Solving Ability: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex electronic faults quickly and efficiently.

• Attention to Detail: Meticulous care when handling delicate console casings, ribbon cables, and circuit boards.
