Playwright Automation Test Engineer – ERP / Salesforce

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright.
  
• Develop and execute automated test scripts for enterprise web applications using Playwright and TypeScript/JavaScript.
  
• Build reusable automation components and continuously enhance the automation framework.
  
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude and other Generative AI platforms to accelerate test case creation, script generation, and automation productivity.
  
• Review, optimise, and maintain AI-generated automation scripts to ensure quality, maintainability, and reliability.
  
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
  
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality software.
  
• Analyse test execution results, identify defects, and support root cause analysis.
  
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and release activities.
  
• Contribute to automation standards, framework improvements, and AI-driven testing best practices.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
  
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
  
• Hands-on experience with ERP and/or Salesforce applications
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript.
  
• Experience designing and maintaining Playwright automation frameworks.
  
• Working knowledge of Claude or similar Generative AI/LLM tools for software development or test automation.
  
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar is an added advantage.
  
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
