Playwright Automation Tester (Ref 26516)
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing
• Support automation frameworks, including regression execution and automation enablement
• Review existing automation tools, scripts, coverage, and execution effectiveness
• Analyse business and technical requirements to create test scenarios, scripts, and test data
• Identify and coordinate test data requirements with relevant stakeholders
• Execute automated and manual test scripts where required
• Log, track, retest, and validate defects through resolution
• Support testing for enterprise scale or complex systems
• Work in environments where automation tools vary by system or use case
• Contribute to enhancements or integration of productivity and AI assisted testing tools
Requirements
• Bachelor in Computer Science with at least 3 years experience in test automation development, maintenance, and execution using Playwright.
• Hands on experience with multiple automation tools across systems
• Good understanding of software testing life cycle, regression testing, and defect management
• Experience supporting enterprise scale or complex environments
• Strong analytical skills to translate requirements into effective test scenarios
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
• Detail oriented, self motivated, and adaptable in dynamic environments
• Good to have : Experience leveraging reusable test assets or automation accelerators, nAbility to recommend and implement best practices in test automation , Exposure to process improvement and efficiency initiatives, Contribution to knowledge sharing and team capability development
