PLC Consultant
Summary
A field consultant who tests, troubleshoots, repairs, optimizes, and programs Siemens PLC control systems for a client's conveyor-based logistics automation, working independently from defined statements of work. Core skills are Siemens PLC programming plus electrical/mechanical automation knowledge.
Overview: We are seeking a skilled PLC Consultant with expertise in testing, inspection, repair, optimization, troubleshooting, and programming of PLC Siemens Control systems. The successful candidate will work within the Client’s Logistic automation systems, ensuring high standards of performance and efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
Testing and inspecting the conveyor system PLC Siemens Control systems.
Repairing and optimizing existing systems.
Troubleshooting and programming as necessary.
Updating existing documentation and system backups.
Ensuring compliance with safety instructions.
Working independently based on tasks defined in onboarding documentation.
Delivering fully tested systems that are optimized and error-free as per specified protocols.
Key Requirements:
Educational background as Electrician, Automation Technician, or equivalent.
Proficient in Siemens PLC programming and codes.
Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge relevant to conveyor systems and automation.
Ability to work autonomously as per defined statements of work.
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with "one automation" standard.
Other Details: The initial training and onboarding for this project will take place onsite at Client’s Supply Chain Denmark for the first two weeks.
