PLC programmer

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain PLC software for EOL systems.
  • Implement and troubleshoot ACS ↔ PLC ↔ PC communication.
  • Develop and support LabVIEW-based test automation applications.
  • Configure industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP).
  • Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, and production ramp-up.
  • Prepare technical documentation and validation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with CE, UKCA, ISO 13849, IEC 62061, and IEC 61508 requirements.

Must-Have Skills

  • 5–8 years in Industrial Automation / PLC Programming.
  • Strong experience in Siemens TIA Portal (preferred), Allen Bradley, or Beckhoff.
  • Hands-on LabVIEW development and test automation.
  • Experience with ACS systems and machine integration.
  • Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols.
  • Safety PLC and machine safety implementation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Functional Safety certification is an advantage.
