PLC Programmer

About the role

At Marlex, we are collaborating with a company specialized in industrial programming and automation in the search for a PLC PROGRAMMER to join their team and participate in international projects within the automotive sector.

What you'll do

• Develop, modify, and adjust PLC programs for industrial machinery and production lines.
• Participate in the programming, installation, and commissioning of industrial automation systems, mainly with Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during the programming and commissioning phases.
• Interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation to carry out the necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with the engineering team and clients on international projects, contributing to the optimization of automated systems.

What we're looking for

• Higher Degree training in Industrial Automation and Robotics, Electrotechnical and Automated Systems, or similar.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in PLC programming, industrial automation, or machinery commissioning, with special value placed on the automotive sector.
• Practical knowledge of PLC programming, preferably with Siemens and Allen-Bradley.
• Medium-high level of English, ability to interpret electrical diagrams and technical documentation, and resolve issues.
• Availability to travel frequently abroad, with prolonged stays outside of Spain. We are looking for a proactive, resourceful person with the ability to adapt and work in a team.
