● Maintains all aspects of irrigation systems; Installs, alters and replaces valves, faucets, traps, sinks, washbowls, sewer pipes, vents, bathrooms and/or kitchen fittings.

● Performs work as Journeyman Plumber and in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures in Parks, park buildings and recreation centers.

● Cuts, bends, threads, reams, assembles, caulks, wipes and solders pipe fitting and joints.

● Clears clogged sewers, toilets, sinks and water coolers.

● Responsible for current City of St. Louis Journeyman Plumbers license and state of Missouri license to test and service backflow preventers at all times.

● Check vehicle and equipment before operating.

● Other duties as assigned.

● Sensory Requirements\: Requires the ability to recognize and identify similarities or differences between characteristics of sounds and odors with job-related objects, materials and tasks. Incumbents trace system leaks by identifying differences in sounds and by odor.
