Position Overview:

A growing service-based organization is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused

Plumbing Estimator to join its team. The ideal candidate will be a journeyman-level plumber with

strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple leads, sold projects, and active

jobs simultaneously. This role is responsible for performing on-site estimates, developing

accurate pricing, managing sold plumbing projects from approval through completion, and

providing technical support to plumbing technicians in the field. The Plumbing Estimator will play

a key role in supporting sales growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Estimation: Perform on-site estimates, evaluate project scope, and develop accurate plumbing pricing.
  • Lead & Project Management: Manage active leads, pending estimates, sold projects, and ongoing jobs to ensure timely follow-up and completion.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate professionally with customers regarding estimates, approvals, scheduling, and project updates.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate approved and sold work with dispatch, technicians and management to ensure smooth execution.
  • Field Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting guidance and technical support to plumbing technicians in the field as needed.
  • Documentation & Organization: Maintain accurate and organized records of estimates, proposals, approvals, and project notes within internal systems.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships and address issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

  • Maryland Journeyman Plumbing License required
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, troubleshooting, and applicable code requirements.
  • Experience in plumbing sales, estimating, account management, or a related customer-facing role preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability.
  • Experience/familiarity with ServiceTitan is preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
