About the Role

Horizon Services is seeking an experienced Plumbing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of plumbing construction and installation projects. This role is responsible for overseeing project timelines, budgets, staffing, quality assurance, and safety while ensuring projects are completed efficiently and exceed customer expectations.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive plumbing industry knowledge, proven project management experience, and the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams.

What You'll Do

• Lead and oversee plumbing construction, installation, and maintenance projects from planning through completion
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans to ensure successful execution
• Manage and mentor plumbing technicians and helpers, including training, coaching, performance management, and workforce development
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, permits, and subcontractors to meet project goals
• Review project specifications and determine appropriate installation and repair methods
• Monitor project progress, costs, and productivity while maintaining profitability targets
• Ensure compliance with all local codes, safety standards, environmental regulations, and company policies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
• Conduct project inspections and quality reviews to ensure exceptional workmanship
• Investigate and resolve project issues, delays, and jobsite challenges
• Review payroll and timekeeping records for accuracy
• Lead technician meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Drive departmental performance and achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual goals

What We're Looking For

• Previous plumbing management, field management, or construction leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and applicable codes
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and cost management
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence
• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle
