Description

Plumbing Service Manager

Location: Eugene, Oregon

Compensation: Well above industry standard, with base compensation and performance bonuses designed to reward real departmental results.

Join Our Team

Reynolds Electric, Plumbing, Heating and Air has spent nearly 65 years building a reputation on doing the work right. Thanks to our growth — and the promotion of our current Plumbing Service Manager into a new Trainer role — we're looking for someone to step in and help write the next chapter.

That person knows how to turn a good team into a great one — through real coaching, real accountability, and real time in the field. You'll lead a team of Journeyman Plumbers, Drain Technicians, Apprentices, and Installers, working alongside them on calls, developing their skills, and setting the tone for how the department performs.

This role isn't for someone who wants structure without accountability. It's for someone ready to lead, build, and own the results.

What’s In It For You

  • We pay well above industry standard, with base compensation and performance bonuses designed to reward real departmental results.
  • 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees, with the option to add dependents
  • 120 hours of front-loaded PTO + 7–9 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company match
  • $20,000 employer-paid life insurance
  • Leadership development and ongoing training, including access to Nexstar training and industry resources
  • Direct impact on shaping and growing a high-performing plumbing service organization

What You’ll Do

  • Lead a residential plumbing service team focused on results, quality, and customer experience
  • Own service outcomes — revenue, margin, conversion, and customer satisfaction
  • Hire, onboard, develop, and retain high-quality technicians
  • Lead from the field through ride-alongs, coaching, and real-time feedback
  • Develop technicians into confident, consistent professionals with strong technical skills and a customer-first approach
  • Reinforce expectations around service quality, sales performance, and communication
  • Identify performance gaps and address them directly through coaching and accountability
  • Partner with Recruiting to attract and select top-tier plumbing talent
  • Run regular team meetings focused on results, standards, and growth
  • Work with Dispatch to ensure the right technician gets the right job
  • Track KPIs and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain and refine the pricebook to reflect accurate, current pricing
  • Ensure technicians follow company processes, safety standards, and service expectations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership to drive business goals and profitability
  • Stay current on industry trends and materials to keep the team's knowledge and practices up to date
  • Manage vendor and pricing relationships to ensure competitive materials costs
  • Drive process improvement across the department to increase efficiency and service quality

Our Core Values

These aren't words on a wall — they're how decisions actually get made here, from how we treat a customer's home to how we develop a technician who's struggling.

Built on Character — We do the right thing on the job, even when no one's watching.
Committed to Integrity — We keep our word, to customers and to each other.
Driven by Growth — We invest in developing people, not just filling the schedule.
Winning Together — Wins belong to the team, not just the person who closed the ticket.

If that sounds like how you already lead, you'll fit right in.
