PM4 Support Engineer

We are looking for a dynamic and technical professional to support the Paper Machine 4 in the commissioning, stabilization, and operational readiness of the specialty paper machine project. The role will involve coordination, execution support, process monitoring, documentation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day project activities during commissioning and stabilization phases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support commissioning, trial runs, and machine start-up activities
  • Coordinate with operations, maintenance, projects, and vendors for smooth execution
  • Monitor machine parameters, process performance, and product quality during trials
  • Assist in SOP preparation, documentation, and reporting
  • Support troubleshooting during commissioning and stabilization phases
  • Track project activities, material requirements, and operational readiness
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for productivity and process efficiency

Required Competencies

  • Basic understanding of paper manufacturing processes and paper machine operations
  • Knowledge of specialty/greaseproof/flexible paper manufacturing will be preferred
  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in cross-functional project environments
  • Good analytical and documentation skills
  • Willingness to work in commissioning and start-up environment

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to paper machine projects, operations, or commissioning support
  • Understanding of process parameters, refining, and quality monitoring
  • Familiarity with safety and operational procedures in manufacturing setups
