PMO Analyst (Contract)
We are looking for a proactive PMO Analyst to support the governance and successful delivery of multiple technology projects within a dynamic enterprise environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong project coordination and PMO experience who thrives in a fast-paced setting and enjoys working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts and stakeholders to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the PMO Lead in overseeing project governance across multiple projects and programmes.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, issues and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, RAID logs, action trackers and governance artefacts.
- Consolidate project status updates and prepare executive dashboards, reports and presentations for senior management.
- Coordinate governance meetings, steering committee sessions and project reviews, ensuring accurate meeting minutes and follow-up actions.
- Track project financials, resource allocation and overall portfolio health.
- Ensure compliance with project management methodologies, governance standards and organisational processes.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, technical teams and vendors to facilitate project delivery and resolve project issues.
- Identify governance gaps and recommend process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a PMO, Project Coordinator, Project Analyst or Project Management role.
- Experience supporting multiple concurrent IT projects within an enterprise environment.
- Good understanding of project governance, SDLC, Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence or Microsoft Project.
- Experience preparing project dashboards, governance reports and executive presentations.
- PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation or Agile certifications will be an advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting digital transformation or enterprise application projects.
- Familiarity with portfolio reporting, project financial tracking and resource management.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, vendors and senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other reporting and visualisation tools is advantageous.
