The Role
As a PMO Cum Business Tester, you will sit at the intersection of finance and technology, making sure business requirements are properly tested and finance systems perform as expected. You will turn requirements into clear test scenarios, validate financial outputs through SIT and UAT, and give business stakeholders the confidence to sign off. This is an onsite contract role, ideal if you enjoy detailed, hands-on work with real accounting and reporting processes.
What You'll Do
• Review business requirements and translate them into test scenarios, test cases and expected results
• Prepare test data covering single-entity reporting and group consolidation, including exception scenarios
• Execute business testing during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Validate financial results by reconciling source data, consolidation outputs and reporting schedules
• Test workflow and controls, including submission, approval, rejection, access rights and audit trails
• Manage defects by documenting issues, supporting investigation, retesting fixes and performing regression testing
• Maintain testing evidence and report readiness, highlighting unresolved issues and supporting business sign-off
What We're Looking For
• Accounting, finance or a related qualification, or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of group consolidation, statutory reporting, journals and reconciliations
• Business testing or UAT experience on finance systems
• Strong spreadsheet analysis, requirements interpretation and evidence documentation skills
• Clear stakeholder communication and strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with defect-tracking tools is recommended
• Up to 5 years of relevant experience
