About the role
We are seeking a proactive and creative PMO professional who is passionate about improving the way we work. This role is ideal for someone who doesn’t just manage processes – they challenge them, simplify them, and continuously look for better ways of delivering results.
How you will get the job done
supporting the Head of Operations Projects PMO in tracking the status of portfolio metrics (Power BI and Excel knowledge mandatory), including financial management, risks, issues tracking and reporting on the overall portfolio progress
supporting the Program/Project Managers with the timely collation of Weekly and Monthly Steering Committee reporting packs, managing actions, decisions, inputs and outputs
leading and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the project portfolio
using data and insights to identify trends, recommended improvements, and measure success
identifying inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable solutions
being responsible for an internal assurance to ensure all projects are compliant with the Group Technology PPM governance model and recorded in the appropriate tools and system
cooperating with numerous other departments and international colleagues on a common goal to support the delivery of the priority Group Technology strategic program
performing project resource management-related tasks from onboarding to work effort reporting control
providing coaching and guidance to project managers and act as a subject matter expert for PMO best-practice, portfolio methods, processes, tools, templates, and standards
Skills and experience you will need
fluent English
5+ years of experience in the field of PMO (preferred in IT-related environments)
advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power BI and Excel knowledge mandatory)
strong analytical, facilitation and presentation skills
experience in creating and implementing process improvements, coordinating, and overseeing project governance best-practice and communications
excellent understand of resource and financial management processes (using Clarity and SAP knowledge)
ease at working in a multinational environment using a foreign language(s) daily
experience of creating, collating, and delivering accurate and timely program reporting
strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with all stakeholders, peers and team members
strong knowledge and experience using SharePoint
mindset with a strong focus on attention to detail
familiarity with Agile or Waterfall
proactive and positive attitude
