Key responsibilities
- Conduct detailed assessments and diagnoses of foot and ankle conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including conservative management, orthotics, and surgical interventions.
- Perform surgical procedures related to foot and ankle disorders as appropriate.
- Educate patients on preventive foot care and rehabilitation protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physiotherapists, orthopedists, and primary care providers.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with clinical guidelines.
- Stay abreast of advances in foot and ankle podiatry and integrate best practices.
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice podiatry in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
- Specialized training and experience in foot and ankle care is essential.
- Proven clinical experience managing complex foot and ankle pathologies.
- Strong surgical skills related to foot and ankle procedures.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
