Poker Shift Manager
What You'll Expect
As a Poker Shift Manager, you'll oversee poker operations during assigned shifts, ensuring games run smoothly, guests are welcomed and assisted, and the poker environment is safe, secure, and enjoyable. You’ll supervise team members, support game integrity, and deliver top-tier customer service.
What You'll Do
- Supervise poker games and floor operations during shifts
- Greet and seat guests, ensuring a friendly and professional experience
- Open/close games and manage poker room flow
- Assist with resolving guest or team member issues and escalate as needed
- Handle chip exchanges and ensure dealers have the tools they need
- Train, coach, and assess poker staff; provide feedback to foster improvement
- Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Support documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Step in to deal games when necessary
What You'll Bring
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities
- Strong math skills to calculate odds, payouts, and game results
- Experience as a poker dealer (minimum 3 years preferred)
- Familiarity with Poker Atlas and casino game operations is a plus
What We Require
- Gaming license required
- Exposure to secondhand smoke and loud environments may occur
- Physical mobility; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. and work extended hours if needed
