Police Cadet
Summary
Police Cadet program requiring completion of the Police Academy and state exams, with a two-year employment commitment.
The successful candidate for the Cadet Program will need to:
Complete the City of Alice online application
Complete the TCOLE packet
Pass the Civil Service Exam with a score of 70 or higher
Pass an APD background investigation
Sign a two (2) year employment commitment
Successfully complete the Police Academy
Successfully complete the Texas State Basic Peace Officer Exam
