Police Contact Tactics Trainer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and disciplined Police Contact Tactics Trainer to deliver high-quality training to frontline officers. If you have a background in Singapore Police Force (SPF) and enjoy developing others through practical, hands-on instruction, we'd like to hear from you.
As a trainer, you will conduct structured, scenario-based training while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and instructional excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver SPF Contact Tactics (PCT) training and other assigned training programmes in accordance with approved curriculum, training standards, and safety protocols.
Conduct practical, scenario-based, and physical skills training sessions.
Ensure a safe training environment by enforcing safety procedures and responding promptly to unsafe practices.
Assess trainees' performance and provide clear, constructive feedback to support their development.
Report incidents, near misses, and safety observations accurately and on time.
Support the continuous improvement of training programmes, teaching methods, and instructional effectiveness.
Represent AETOS professionally by demonstrating punctuality, discipline, and high standards at all times.
Perform other training-related duties assigned by supervisors.
REQUIREMENT
Demonstrated functional literacy and numeracy
Min 2 years of Singapore policing experience, which must include practical experience in making actual arrests and direct experience managing real confrontation situations or Min 1 year of exp as a Certified CT Trainer in SG, specifically teaching CT to police officers or ex Auxiliary Police officer.
100 documented training hours in a structured training environment (law enforcement, military, security, or equivalent)
Must pass PCT TAC 1 Senior Trainer certification training from TRACOM and complete 1 day OJT with SPF prior to deployment.
Physically capable of demonstrating contact tactics and participating fully in rigorous training exercises.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Proven ability to motivate, engage, and manage diverse groups of learners.
Able to commit up to 8 hours per day (full-time) or 4 hours per day (part-time), based on project needs.
Must meet security clearance and comply with SPF Training regulations and instructions.
Undertake any other training duties as assigned by supervisors.
It will be advantageous if you possess the following,
ACLP or ACTA certification.
Valid First Aid and bizSAFE Level 2 certification.
Background in Martial Arts or related physical disciplines.
