Police Lieutenant - Mounted Unit

The Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Mounted Unit Lieutenant. Those interested in this position must complete an application, including a resume and a letter of interest, by October 2, 2026.
The Mounted Unit Lieutenant will report to the Captain of Special Operations.
The Mounted Unit Lieutenant, on-call 24 hrs./day, directs the efficient and effective use of the Mounted Unit patrol operations and administers and maintains equine facilities, equipment, animals, and vehicles within the designated command.
The selection process will include a panel interview and an outside assessment.
