Summary
Enforce security and access control at a military base, including monitoring restricted areas, managing traffic, and responding to emergencies with authorized weapons.
You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT (N3), FORCE PROTECTION (N3AT) DIVISION ofNAS JRB NEW ORLEANS SEC DET.
You will control access of pedestrians or vehicular traffic to restricted areas.
You will carry firearms or other weapons authorized for a specific jurisdiction.
You will notify emergency personnel when issues arise to assist in protecting personnel, property, equipment, or facilities.
