This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: You will perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, and protect life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of a military installation.

You will perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, protect life and civil rights.

You will detect and investigate crimes, arrest or apprehend violators, and perform patrols within the jurisdiction of the military installation.

You will exercise search and arrest authority, apprehend suspects, interview witnesses and other persons involved.

You will conduct traffic law enforcement patrol using specialized equipment such as radar, Lidar and breathalyzer.

You will establish Incident Command at the onset of terrorist attack or other significant incident affecting public safety and the installation mission.
